Bagshaws in the Hope Parish Registers 1599-1645 and 1661-1700

This six volume manuscript is at the Society of Genealogist in London.

Volume 1 is 1599-1645,

1646-1660, no indication of any records during the Commonwealth period, they are perhaps in the private records of Puritan Ministers if they survive..

Volume 2 1661-1700,

Volume 3 1701-1736

Peter Bagshaw of Magna Hucklow (Great Hucklow) shows the following children baptized in Hope. He may be the same Peter who married Agnes Bradwell in 1684, but that would assume Alice and Peter died young.

Peter Bagshaw, presumably son of William Bagshaw bap.1633. Peter married Agnes Bradwel l 1684/5 Feb.12 (pg206) and are recorded of being of Abney Grange and have the following children baptized in Hope:

John Bagshaw, presumably son of William Bagshaw bap.1634, John and Jane Bagshaw are record as having the following children baptized in Hope:

John and Margret Bagshaw of Grinlow

John and Martha Bagshaw of Great Hucklow  have:
